Dove Hunting

I know doves aren't water fowl, but did any one get out and hunt any doves today? If so how did everyone do?

Went and set in the rain and managed to squeek out a few before it started coming down hard enough to drive me back to the truck.

We have the corn in our bottoms cut but didn't see any doves flying this evening when I went and did a little scouting...

I went yesterday eve. and saw about 8 passing in the distance but no shooters, we oughta be good in the next few days as this weather has settled temp wise should be a new group showing up soon, but I better check dates, and make sure i'm still legal.

I made it out on Saturday evening in central MN. There were 3 of us hunting and we merely stood in some weeds next to a very small watering hole for buffalo (we were on a buffalo farm-not wild) with plenty of sand and gravel around it. We had constant action for about 2.5 hours, the three of us shot approximately 150 rounds (we missed a lot) and ended up with 39 doves (15 per person limit). We knocked down a few more that we did not retrieve, however still counted towards our limit.

I fried some up on Sunday night and they were quite good. I could use a better recipe though.. Any suggestions?
