Canoing

The family and I were down on the Current River this past few days enjoying canoing and the gorgeous weather(except for the torrential down pours). I hadn't been down since I was 15 years old and i can't remember why I stopped going. Looking foward to next year!!!

Floated the first day from Akers to Round Spring and the Second day from Round Spring to Two Rivers. I had never floated the second leg...it was gorgeous!!! I want to try out the fishing below Round Spring, there was some good looking water down that way.

I don't think that you could ask for a better river to float then the Current River.

I haven't floated the current for years because I never had much luck catching fish. We went on down the the Eleven Point several years ago and could never think of a good reason to go back to the Current. Give it a try sometime.
