Questions about Atchison County Lease
I got on a lease in Atchison County, just east of Westboro,MO. Is there anybody that has hunted in this area? How is the hunting, what do the deer
look like? Thanks in advance.

Not sure I can help you out on this one much,, dont know where Atchison County is or Westboro Mo, But I would say the deer are most likely brown, to
brownish red with white on their belly and a spot on the neck under the chin. The males will usually have ant.......lol just kidding you,,,I couldnt
pass that up... Is it Northern Mo or what ganeral area?

I have never hunted the area but the northwest part of the state should be excellent deer hunting. Here is a link to the MDC webpage with lots of past

It is in the far Northwest corner of the state. 2 mi. from Iowa, 20 miles from Nebraska.

2 miles from Iowa, and 20 Miles from Nebraska! Id say your in good shape.. there will be big bucks there for sure! Congrats on that lease. Good

That's only about 15 minutes from me. Send me a U2U. I'm pretty sure I will know the land owners. My Dad had a mechanics shop in Westboro when I
was a kid and my mom was from Westboro. My grandparents had a grocery store there until I was 16 or so. Should be some good hunting.
