Inky caps are another one I have never found, at least that I know of.

I've never found them in Missouri but we used to find them by the bucket load in Wyoming. Mostly along old Natl. Forest roads.....goodness....you
cound find 1/8 of a mile of them, on both sides of the road. I've NEVER had 'shroom hunting like that before or since.

Just a heads up, I found a bucket full of chanterelles Tuesday. Unlike morels they love oak forests so if you have some woods you never find morels in
get out there now. Don't forget to spray your clothes with permanone first, the ticks are thicker than the shrooms.
